Batik Exhibit & Fashion Show
The Indonesian Consulate in Los Angeles and Martini & Milk proudly presented, the kick-off of American Batik Design Competition in Los Angeles featuring a Batik Exhibit and a Fashion Show.
Mrs McM and I had the honor of working with amazing talented people such as Irma Hardjakusumah who designed the event space and all of the graphic work for the event, and Angelina Handayani of SoAngel who created and styled all the looks that walked the runway on the three segments of the Fashion Show.

Where were we during the event? Well. Let’s see. Mrs McM (and Keira) were backstage doing make-up and hair with Suzanne Wolozny of Goddess Vortex and Lisa Tungka-Feinstein. As the producer of this event, my high heels and I went back and forth lobby area and 3rd floor.
So I really don’t know how Mrs McM does that, she just looked pretty in every single picture doesn’t she? And very pink.
And me? It’s my usual face of ‘I’m-ready-to-solve-whatever-problem-that-may-come’. Which unfortunately made me look slightly mean. Yikes. Oh well. My team by now accepts my craziness. Thank you.

The event went well. We had 150 guests. Everyone had a pleasant experience. Everyone enjoyed the traditional Indonesian hors d’oeuvre and drink. Backstage went picture crazy after event. Lots of hugs and kisses around the room for an amazing team work and a job well done. There were so many people involved. Every single one put their heart and soul into this project. I know my thank you will never be enough. I do hope they know that my appreciation and gratitude for every single one of them is above and beyond what they could possibly think of.
